聚碳酸酯类制品耐热性高，低温特性好，电性能优异，尺寸稳定性好，机械强度高。但耐疲劳强度低，耐应力开裂性差，能溶于二氯甲烷、氯苯等，能被大部分氯化烃、芳香烃、酯和酮等侵蚀，出现应力开裂。采用模上凹凸印刷时，原料的含水率要求小于0.02%，否则会出现气泡、银丝和斑痕等毛病。
