PVC sheet is made of PVC as the raw material, and its cross section is honeycomb mesh structure.
It is a kind of vacuum plastic film, which is used for the surface packaging of various types of panels, so it is also called decorative film and adhesive film, which is applied to many industries such as building materials, packaging, medicine, etc. Among them, building materials industry accounts for the largest proportion, accounting for 60%, followed by packaging industry, and several other small-scale application industries. According to the degree of hardness, it can be divided into soft PVC and hard PVC.
2、 Characteristics of PVC sheet
1. Waterproof, flame retardant, acid and alkali resistant, mothproof, light weight, heat preservation, sound insulation and shock absorption.
2. It is processed as wood, and its processing performance is far better than wood.
3. It is an ideal substitute for wood, aluminum and composite board.
3、 Properties of PVC sheet
1. The general performance PVC resin is a white or light yellow powder with a relative density of 1.35-1.45. The hardness and softness of the product can be adjusted by adding the number of plasticizers. The water absorption and air permeability of pure PVC are very low.
2. Mechanical properties PVC has high hardness and mechanical properties. It increases with the increase of molecular weight, but decreases with the increase of temperature. The mechanical properties of rigid PVC are good, and its elastic modulus can reach 1500-3000mpa. The elasticity of soft PVC is 1.5-15 MPa. But the elongation at break is as high as 200% - 450%. The friction coefficient of PVC is 0.4-0.5 in static and 0.23 in dynamic.
3. The thermal stability of PVC is very poor. It begins to decompose at 140 ℃, and the melting temperature is 160 ℃. The linear expansion coefficient of PVC is small, it is flame retardant, and its oxidation index is over 45.
4. Electrical properties PVC is a kind of polymer with good electrical properties, but its electrical insulation is not as good as PP and PE due to its large polarity. Dielectric constant, tangent value of dielectric loss angle and volume resistivity are large, and the corona resistance is not good, which is generally suitable for medium and low voltage and low frequency insulation materials.
5. Environmental performance PVC can withstand most inorganic acids, alkalis, salts, most organic solvents. It is suitable for medicine and chemical anticorrosive materials.
